On Tuesday 30th April, pupils from Years 6 to Year 8 sat the UKMT Junior Maths Challenge with impressive results from all year groups.

The Mathematics department want to thank pupils for participating and mention a few stand out performances. Harry Mountain and Oliver Ingram in Year 6 both received certificates.This is particularly impressive as the paper is for pupils in Year 7 and 8. Harry Mountain, Matthew Durrant, Felix Lawry, Sam Routledge, Ollie Simmonds, Merle In Der Rieden, Emma Renton, Meg Radford, Alexander Rumfitt, Harry Bell and Orla Kelly all received gold certificates and qualified for the next round, called the Junior Kangaroo. Atitiya Vichayanrat got the best result overall and has qualified for the Junior Olympiad round.
