“Emanuel gave me access to many enjoyable extracurricular activities such as academic societies and sport. There were many opportunities to further my knowledge through courses and talks hosted or suggested by Emanuel, which were great for university applications and allowed me to expand my areas of interest. This will all help me to make a good transition to later stages of education.
I played rugby throughout my time at Emanuel. I played First team over the course of the Sixth Form and had the opportunity to play my final match at Twickenham Stoop. I was consistently part of the School Council from Y6 to U6, which allowed me to give voice to changes and improvements to the school from my peers and myself. I was a member of the school chess team throughout my time at Emanuel, and in the lower school was a member of the Literary Society. In the Sixth Form, I was part of the Business and Economics Society, in which we maintained a stock profile on Etoro and I also made a presentation on the gig economy. I mentored a Year 7 student for a year to help improve his grades in Maths and English and did Bronze and Silver DofE.
Thank you very much for your support, which has allowed me to be a part of this school and given me so many opportunities which I have welcomed and taken advantage of. Emanuel has allowed me to make the most of my education and has also been a wonderful environment to grow through, with supportive teachers and sport which I have thoroughly enjoyed.”
