The Year 8 Art AR3 group, made up from pupils in 8HEB and 8SWJ, have just finished designing and making their batik t-shirts and cushions.

Pupils drew from the still life set up and developed their observational drawings into complex repeat patterns ranging from half–drop to rotated and reflected patterns. The group learnt about using the wax batik technique and applying fabric dyes to their work, before ironing out the wax and in some cases embellishing their work with beads and sequins.

I am sure you will agree that the results are spectacular. Really well done to all in 8AR3 (HEB/SWJ).
