2024: Outstanding A level success
We are delighted to report that our Upper Sixth have once again earned an excellent set of A level results.
With almost two thirds of entries graded at A* or A, they have continued the trend of year-on-year improvement at Emanuel. To do so alongside the pupils impressive and wide-ranging co-curricular and outreach involvement is a testament to the hard work of the students and the quality of support and guidance from their teachers and families.
(in 2020, 2021 and 2022, results were impacted by the COVID pandemic)
Key points:
- 61 students (over 40% of the year group) achieved all A* or A grades.
- 10 students achieved A* grades in all of their subjects.
- 109 students completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), almost 40% achieving A* grades. These results (which were even better than the school’s A level results), provided many with preferential university offers securing fantastic opportunities ahead.
The headmaster, Mr Milne, said ‘I am delighted for this superb group of young people. I and all members of the school’s governing body are so pleased to see our pupils’ hard work and our teachers’ expertise recognised in this way. Most importantly, everyone at Emanuel is incredibly proud of our leavers’ attitude, their spirit and sense of humour- they have been great fun, have set a fine example in many ways, and we wish them every possible success and happiness!’
