Last week in the Refectory and Buttery the catering team served a fabulous Indian Feast. 

The chef team was led by Srikanth who put together the menu featuring regional dishes from all over India including Lucknow Chicken Biryani, a deliciously spicy Lamb Chettinad, Amritsari Chana Masala which is a chickpea curry from Amritsar, the home of the Golden Temple, and Kathitikai Poriyal a tasty aubergine curry from the Tamil Nadu region of Southern India.  The accompaniments always add to the festivity of the occasion and this time we served soft naan bread, crispy onion bhajis and pakoras with a selection of sauces and dips.

Curries are one of the most popular dishes we serve and this selection was greatly enjoyed by everyone with  many pupils and staff complimenting the chefs for a magnificent meal.

The next big lunch to watch out for is Christmas lunch which will be served on Monday 13th December.
