Our Year 11s have received their GCSE results today, under the entirely unique system of teacher assessed grades (TAGS). They have shown real grit and determination, pressing on and working hard, despite moments of personal and collective uncertainty. The head of middle school has said:

‘These exceptional results came despite a year like no other, and we are immensely proud of the way our pupils adapted to the changes and succeeded despite the many up and downs they encountered during the pandemic. They rose to these challenges, under the careful guidance and commitment of their subject teachers, form tutors and head of year, as well as their parents and should feel tremendously pleased with their results.’

The headmaster has expressed how pleased he is to see our GCSE pupils ‘…achieve truly commendable outcomes and begin- with great confidence- to prepare for their A Level courses.’

On behalf of all our pupils and families, we wish to thank the great team of teachers, form tutors and support staff- colleagues who have worked with great conviction throughout this last year.
