Student activity on the ECON website is buzzing at the moment as Year 11 pupils make contact with parents who work in sectors such as Art, IT, and Science to try and secure work experience.

The response from parents has been overwhelmingly positive in offering support to the careers department to ensure our students develop the transferable skills they need to be successful in life after Emanuel. The parent body have also generously offered extended internship opportunities to the Upper Sixth via the ECON website. The careers department are currently receiving letters of applications and CVs for the internships in digital technology, international commerce, recruitment and real-estate marketing. After the closing date candidates will initially be interviewed at school by the Head of Careers, before being further quizzed and tested by representatives of the company they wish to work for. The ECON website is a unique and invaluable resource where our students are able to communicate with experts in a variety of career areas in a safe and monitored environment.
