On Wednesday 18th December, six members of the Emanuel School 1st XV were involved in the London South-East fixture against London Scottish Academy.

Upper sixth students Tom Riedy, Fynn Lyttle, Finlay Frank, Aiden Thomas and Jack Seymour and lower sixth student Jude Todd-Warmoth played for the region at the Richmond Athletic Ground, overpowering the London Scottish side to come out on top, winning 43-10.

The New Year kicked off with the Presidents Day and Regional festival hosted at RFU Championship Club, Ealing Trailfinders RFC. All four regions came together to compete and the day was a final opportunity for the players to put their hands up for selection for the national squad. Oscar Wainman (1st XV captain), Fynn Lyttle and Jude Todd-Warmoth represented the South-East region in fixtures against the South-West, Midlands and the North.

Players will be notified this week as to whether they have been successful in making the national side for the upcoming international programme:

  • 16th February: Boys’ Club of Wales
